PUTRAJAYA: Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi’s daughter has denied she is being questioned by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).
Datuk Nurulhidayah Ahmad Zahid (pic) told reporters that she was at the MACC headquarters to accompany her father, who is giving a statement to the anti-graft body.
“No, I’m just here to accompany him,” she said briefly, as she made her way to her car after exiting the building through a back door at 4.52pm on Wednesday (Oct 10).
MACC, however, earlier confirmed with The Star that she was also being questioned.
Dr Ahmad Zahid, who is Umno president, came to MACC at 9.20am Wednesday and was still being questioned after seven hours in connection with the misappropriation of funds in Yayasan Budi Akal.
